General Data Protection Regulations – Legal Requirement

 

 


 

On the 25th May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will legally take effect.  As a business which holds personal data relating to your company, we are legally obliged to inform you of what data we hold for you and how we will/will not use it.       

 

 

We request you read the information contained within this text You agree to us that you consent to us using and storing your data as outlined further below.  The information we store and use is to enable us to trade with you.



Information about You or/and your Company

 

 

We hold Company Information within our systems . This information includes:

 

 

  • Company Name
  • Personal details ( name, surname, address, NIN, copy of: driving license, cpc card , tacho card)
  • Company Address (including all site locations)
  • Various telephone numbers and fax numbers as supplied by you
  • Various email addresses as supplied by you
  • VAT Number
  • Bank Account Details

 

 

We also hold your e-mail addresses within our Office 365 platform.  This is a cloud-based service managed by Microsoft.

 

Information about you and your company is backed up and stored off-site for security and loss prevention purposes.  During the transfer of data to the Secure Data Centre, the data is encrypted.  The information stored in the Data Centre can only be used for restoring purposes by our company.  As such, we are the only party who can access this.

 

We use data relating to your business to facilitate trading with you and your company and for general correspondence with your staff on a regular basis.  VK Logistics Ltd will never pass on or sell this information without your permission.
